Alternative Yoga
Alternative Yoga offers gentle breathing and fluid movements to encourage circulation and body awareness. Balancing postures will promote strength , courage and a deep sense of calm. Stay grounded and learn to soar! A chair in this class for balance and stability.
Yoga 1
This is a non-heated hatha based class, where proper alignment and breath integration are the foundation to the practice. You will learn each pose from the bottom up and gain a deeper understanding of your body and the practice of yoga. Think: balance, strength, sweet.
Yoga 2
This class is one in which poses will be held longer in-between flowing movements found in a vinyasa style class. Vinyasa is the link between your breath and movement, so your poses are c Yoga 2 will challenge you mentally and physically. Think: sweet and sweaty.
Restorative Yoga
These sessions allow for the creation of space in your body where healing is reclaimed. Yoga postures are entered using a variety of props to stabilize and support the body and encourage the organs, nervous system and consciousness to calm, while at the same time releasing deeply held tensions.
Pilates
Pilates is designed to strengthen, stretch and balance your body. The movements and the breathing patterns of the exercises influence and enhance re-training and coordination. The result is a dramatic change in core strength and ease of movement.
Yoga Nidra
Not sleeping well? Then this is the class for you. Enjoy a peaceful, gentle, serene, almost hypnotic class where the instructor will guide you through a practice that will aid you in trying to get the most out of your rest. Good for beginners.
All Level Yoga
All-level yoga classes are appropriate for students at all levels of practice, including beginners. They will generally be MORE challenging than Yoga 1 classes. While it is advisable to have some yoga experience before attending classes, a fit beginner should be fine.
